Abstract
The aim of this Resolution is to regulate the importation of powder milk produced in countries of origin and packaged in other countries. It is composed of 8 articles. Article 1 allows the importation of milk powder produced in countries of origin in packages of weighs 25 kg and over, and milk packaged in countries not of origin in packages weighing 3 kg and on the condition that producer and packing factories are registered at the Lebanese Animal Wealth Department. Article 2 specifies documents and certificates necessary for the registration of the aforementioned factories. Packing factories of powder milk should possess the HACCP or ISO certificates is provided for in article 3. Article 5 decrees that the period between the date of production and packing date must not exceed than 3 months. Articles 6 and 7 deals with certificates and labels.
