Abstract
This Resolution adds other conditions and requirements, mentioned in Resolution No. 348/1 of 28/11/2002, necessary for the importation of edible potatoes. The conditions are the following: the consignment shall be accompanied with a certificate from the Official Competent Authority demonstrating that the potatoes were produced in areas free from Brown Mould Diseases; a certificate of analysis from an authorized laboratory is needed; sprinkling potatoes with medicine to prevent incubation before unloading the consignment from the ship at the exporter’s expense; and, the consignment shall be accompanied by a certificate issued by an international company for control confirming its compatibility with Resolution No. 348/1 of 28/11/2002 and with this Resolution.
