Resolution No. 254 of 2023 prohibiting the use of slaughterhouse waste to feed fish.

This Resolution, comprising five articles, seeks to prohibit the use of slaughterhouse waste as feed for fish farming farms and its disposal into waterways or unlicensed areas (art.2). Transporting any form of slaughterhouse remains and associated waste without proper identification documents indicating their source and final destination is also prohibited (art.3). In the absence of the required documents, the Resolution stipulates that the truck and its contents will be confiscated and destroyed at the expense of the truck owner (art.4).
