Abstract
The aim of this Resolution is to protect Lebanese crops from fruit flies (ceratitis cosyra bactrocera, sp nova-ex Sri Lanka and bactrocera zonata). It is composed of 5 articles. Articles 1 and 2 allow the importation of mango on the condition that is exposed to a specific heat and vapour heat in Lebanon under the control of quarantine officers. Article 3 defines sanitary and international certificates to be provided with mango consignments. Article 4 exempts all consignments coming from countries free from the aforementioned flies and respect international criteria for plant health.
