Resolution No. 50/1 of 2008 establishing the Agricultural Medicines Committee.

This Resolution is composed of 5 articles. Article 1 deals with the formation of the Agricultural Medicines Committee. Article 2 defines competencies and duties of the Committee, in particular: classification of agricultural medicines as the proportion of risk; scheduling of allowed agricultural medicines; laying down tables for maximum residue limit (MRL) and the value of the pre-harvest (PHI) of agricultural medicines; study of the dangers resulting from the use of certain agricultural medicines on human, animals, plants, birds and beneficial insects; laying down requirements and conditions for the prevention from poisoning risks of agricultural medicines; fixing prices; processing of applications; take action to avoid dangers of the use of pesticides; and, definition of register models.
