Resolution No. 52/1 of 1996 defining standards and percentages for pollution control of water, soil and air.

The Resolution contains 2 articles and 14 Annexes. Resolution No. 20/B on standardization and metrology regarding environmental control is now abrogated. The new standardization and metrology is contained in the attached Annexes (art. 1); drinking-water standards (Annex I); quality of surface freshwater (Annex II); water quality required for aquatic species (Annex III); bathing water (Annex IV); minimum quality for domestic drainage water after treatment (Annex VI); discharge or burial of liquid or solid waste disposal in surface waters, groundwaters or in the Territorial Sea (Annex VII); description of noxious substances for discharge in the Territorial Sea (Annex VIII); Annexes IX- XIV refer to air and noise pollution.
