Abstract
This Resolution amends the title and article 2 of Resolution No. 483/1. The Title is amended as follows: “defining the requirements necessary for the issuance of licences for the importation of milk destined for the nutrition of infants and suckling babies”. Article 2 is amended as follows: "the requirements necessary for the issuance of licences for the importation of milk destined for the nutrition of infants and suckling babies (liquid or Powder) are: (a) the product (milk for infants and suckling babies) shall be packaged in suitable packages in order to guarantee good quality and safety; (b) the name and address of the producer, and the name of the distributor or importer, shall be written on the package by a sticker before the sale or distribution; (c) the expiry date (day, month, year) shall be written clearly on the package; and, (d) instructions for the use, preparation and conservation shall be written on the package".
