Abstract
To protect the public health and to prevent harms and damages caused by the toxic Dioxin substance existed in some of animal food products imported from Belgium, this Resolution prohibits to import live-stock from Belgium. Furthermore, the importation, introduction and bringing into Lebanon of meat meal, bone meal and all animal food-stuff products made of milk, dairy products, eggs, meat and poultry prepared for the human consumption are prohibited. Importation of the aforementioned food-stuff from other European and American countries is allowed only on the condition that are accompanied with the sanitary certificate issued in the country of origin confirming that are free from Dioxin.
