Abstract
This Resolution consisting of 5 articles aims at preserving public health and setting up the environmental requirements in order to get a healthy agricultural production. It bans the registration and the entrance in Lebanon of any agricultural pesticide that includes in its composition the active substances carbofuran and carbosulfan. However, it permits the authorized companies in trading pesticides containing the aforementioned substances of keeping circulating them until the expiring date. These companies shall inform the Plant Pharmacy Department at the Ministry of Agriculture about the amount of these substances that have already expired and the ones next to expire in their possession.
