Resolution No.899 of 2017 on the composition of the potato seed import control Committee.

This Resolution consisting of 3 articles establishes that Committees are formed to monitor the import of potato seeds for the 2017-2018 season at the border posts. main tasks of the Committees are (i) inspect and monitor imported potato seeds to ensure compliance with the required documents and technical and health conditions; (ii) not to allow the removal of the imported seeds from the customs barrier before the appearance of the laboratory test confirming the absence of seeds from pests; (iii) allow the entry of seeds after the results of the laboratory examination issued by the Agricultural Scientific Research Authority, which confirms the absence of seeds from diseases.
