Agriculture and Fisheries Incentives Act No. 13 of 2014.

This Act sets forth procedures and principles for the application for agriculture and fisheries incentives, approval of agricultural projects, and licensing for import. For the purposes of this Act, an approved agricultural project includes the purchase of agricultural inputs, the establishment or developing a facility, the introduction of clean and renewable energy, the purchase of a boat or fishing vessel, and the purchase of a commercial motor vehicle in support of the agricultural project. Moreover, this Act sets forth provisions on the establishment, structure and duties of the Agriculture and Fisheries Incentives Committee and the Agriculture and Fisheries Incentives Appeals Board, exemptions for duties and taxes, registration and inspection of imported agricultural inputs and articles, and sale or disposal of agricultural inputs, commercial motor vehicle and other articles. The Minister may make regulations for giving effect to the provisions of the Act.
