Abstract
The object of these Regulations is to introduce certain conservation measures for the fishery waters of Saint Lucia regarding the taking of undersized lobsters, disturbing or taking turtles, taking or having in possession of or damaging corals and sponges, selling or taking undersized conch or conch taken during the closed season, or disturbing, taking, etc., sea urchins without permission. The Regulations enable the Minister charged with responsibility for fisheries to authorize activities for the purpose of scientific research which would otherwise constitute an offence under the Regulations. A fine of $5 000 is imposed for breaches of the Regulations.
