Abstract
This Ordinance establishes the legal framework in Liechtenstein for promoting the processing and marketing of domestic agricultural products. It aims to strengthen the agricultural sector by supporting producers, processors, and traders who primarily utilize locally sourced raw materials. The regulation outlines eligibility criteria, including the requirement for applicants to have their registered office and, if applicable, operating site in Liechtenstein, and to ensure the use of domestic raw materials. It also sets forth the procedures for submitting funding applications, which must include detailed project descriptions and financial plans, and be submitted to the Office for the Environment by February 28 of the funding year. A designated commission reviews these applications, may request additional information, and determines the maximum funding amounts based on the provided documentation.
