Abstract
The Act establishes the framework for consumer rights and business obligations in commercial transactions. The Act applies to transactions involving businesses and consumers, defining what constitutes a business and a consumer. In particular, the Act focuses on regulations related to consumer transactions, rights, and protections in various contractual scenarios. It includes special provisions to protect consumers, such as the right to withdraw from contracts under certain conditions and the invalidity of agreements that disadvantage consumers. The text consists of 53 articles divided into 5 Parts as follows: Special provisions for contracts between entrepreneurs and consumers (I); Legal action (II); Contracts (III); Penalties (IV); Transitional and final provisions (V).
