Abstract
The purpose of the present Act is to: a) guarantee the right of access to environmental information; b) promote the availability and dissemination of environmental information; c) transpose into national legislation the Directive 2003/4/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on public access to environmental information of 19 September 2012. The text consists of 11 articles as follows: Purpose (1); Reserved right (2); Concepts and designation (3); Access to environmental information (4); Grounds for refusal (5); Facilitating access to environmental information (6); Dissemination of environmental information (7); Legal remedies (8); Amendment of designation (9); Repeal of existing legislation (10); Entry into force (11).
