Ordinance on measures to prevent the further spread of avian influenza (916.421.2).

This Ordinance provides for defining control area in accordance with Art. 122f Para. 2 of the Swiss Ordinance on Epizootic Diseases and regulates the scope of the control areas. The Ordinance lays down the measures applicable in the control area for the protection of domestic poultry against avian influenza. The text contains 10 Articles divided into 5 Sections as follow: General provisions (1); Observation and control areas (2); Measures to be considered by the livestock keeper for recording and reporting on the control actions, reporting obligations for the veterinarians, and participation in the markets and exhibitions (3); Penal provision (4); and Final provision (5).
