Abstract
The present Ordinance implements the Act of 23 May 1996 on protection of nature and landscape conservation and the Hunting Act of 23 January 1962. In particular, the Ordinance regulates the protection of wild fauna through the establishment of winter resting zones. The purpose of the Ordinance is: a) to preserve and improve the quantity and quality of wildlife habitats; b) securing viable populations of native wild animal species; c) ensuring a species-specific rhythm of life for wild animals; d) to strengthen the awareness and public understanding of the needs of wild fauna. The text consists of 11 articles divided into 5 Parts as follows: General provisions (I); Winter resting zones (II); Organization and implementation (III); Penalties (IV); Final provisions (V). One Annex enclosed.
