Abstract
The Ordinance provides for issuing licences to butchers, application and fees. Temporary license may be granted and every licensed butcher shall, at the beginning of every month, declare the specifications about the cattle that have been slaughtered in the preceding month (race, breed, provenience etc.). No animal can be slaughtered if diseased and all would-be slaughtered animals shall be exposed to the public previously. Permits allowing the slaughter of cattle may be applied for and slaughtering shall be performed in authorized places after forty eight hours from having given notice to the appointed authorities. Detailed provisions are indicated also for public slaughterhouses, fees to be paid for their use and Application forms for licence and permit are included.
