Abstract
The Ordinance refers to dried or salted meat deriving from any animal with the exception of fish and imported game. Dried meat cannot be transported from a District authorized in storing and distributing it to another unauthorized one: the removal of dried meat exceeding fifteen pounds is an offence whose penalty may be a fine or conviction. Inspections of vehicles, boats, carts may be carried out at any time by appointed officers to ascertain eventual offences.
