Fauna and Flora Protection (Amendment) Act, No. 22 of 2009.

This Act amends the Fauna and Flora Protection Ordinance, 1937.
Amendments include: substitution of the long title with a new one; substitution of provisions of sections 2-3A, 5-10 and insertion of a new section 5B on matters related to national reserves and sanctuaries; substitution of provisions of sections 12, 14, 17, 19, 20, 22-24, 28, 30-31B, 34, 35, 39, 41, 42, 45, 46, 48 and insertion of a new section 46A containing provisions on the protection of flora and fauna and related offences; substitution of provisions of sections 49, 50, 53C, 54 and 55 and insertion of new sections 52A and 55B-55D on provisions of miscellaneous nature; substitution of various provisions of section 57 and insertion of a new section 57A on licences and permits; insertion of new sections 60A to 60E and substitution of various provisions of sections 58, 58A, 60, 64, 66-66D, 67, 67B, 67D and 67F on offences and penalties; changes to section 68 and insertion of new sections 68A and 68B on plans to be developed by the Director-general; substitution of paragraph (e) and insertion of a new paragraph (f) in section 71 on general regulations; insertion or substitution of definitions in section 72; substitution of Schedules I, II, III, IV, IVA and V with new Schedules containing lists of protected and non-protected flora and fauna.
