Abstract
This Act amends the basic Food Act that regulates and controls the manufacture, importation, sale and distribution of food. The Act amends section 5 of the principal Act concerning the Chief Food Authority and section 7 by replacing the word "licence" with "certificate of registration". Section 29 of the principal Act is completely repealed and substituted with a section that orders all fines recovered in respect of an offence under this Act to be paid into local authority funds.
