Abstract
The Act istitutes the International Irrigation Management Institute with the support of the Ford Foundation and on behalf of the International Irrigation Management Institute Support Group. The Act provides for the function and tasks of the Institute whose purposes are to study, evaluate and develop irrigation systems and ensure equity in water supply in oder to assist agricultural production, protect the environment, mantain waterworks.
The Ordinance describes the powers and functions of a number of institutions, such as the Commissioner and its Government Agents, the District Agricultural Committees and the Cultivation Committees.
