Maritime Zones Law No. 22 of 1976

This Law provides for the measurement of the territorial sea (sect. 2), innocent passage of foreign ships (3), powers of the President with respect to the delimitation of zones and declaration of the EEZ, the Pollution Prevention Zone and Historic Waters (4-5,7-9), delimitation of the Continental Shelf of Sri Lanka (6), specification of maritime boundaries (8), and regulation making powers of the Minister (13).
