National Environmental (Plastic Material Identification Standards) Regulations No. 01 of 2021.

These Regulations are enacted in accordance with the Section 32 of the National Enviornmental Act, No. 47 of 1980.
Any manufactured plastic item shall be marked clearly in accordance with the Plastic Material Identification Standards specified in the Schedule of the Regulations. For plastic products manufactured using the raw materials listed in column I of the Schedule, one of the symbols presented in column III must be selected and displayed on the product.
