Abstract
National Health Strategic Master Plan 2016 - 2025 through the Government has a fundamental responsibility to ensure universal access to quality health care, education and other social services according to people’s needs. The participation of people, organizations, trade unions and civil rights societies is essential to the formulation, implementation and evaluation of all health and social policies and programmes, Liaise and obtain upmost support in formulation of new policies. Its vision aims at: equity, ecologically‐sustainable development and peace are at the heart of our vision of a better world ‐ a world in which a healthy life for all is a reality; a world that respects, appreciates and celebrates all life and diversity. Its Mission establishes that Health is a social, economic and political issue and above all a fundamental human right. Inequality, poverty, exploitation, violence and injustice are at the root of ill‐health and the deaths of poor and marginalized people. Measurement is central to the concept of quality improvement; it provides a means to define what hospitals actually do, and to compare that with the original targets in order to identify opportunities for improvement.
Its goal aims at the following: Build broad‐based popular movements to pressure governments to incorporate health and human rights into national constitutions and legislation. Fight the exploitation of people’s health needs for purposes of profit. Objectives: Implement protracted version of Ombusdsmen system relevant to the Ministry of Health. Growing health sector is facing with ever increasing health care waste management issues and ministry of health has to find solutions for those issues also. Availability of safe food to the general public will not only safeguard them from food borne illnesses but ensure healthier nation with optimal nutrition. Public health services need to be strengthened to address the present environmental and occupational health services. Provision of preventive care services is a responsibility of the government. Introduction of new policies, policy instruments, strategic planning and implementation of identified public health interventions are required to achieve optimal public health situation.
In addition, it is necessary to provide Technical, Managerial leadership in Environmental Health, Occupational Health and Food safety issues so that most of the diseases are related with environment. the Incorporation of Geographical Information System (GIS) is increasingly used in health sectors in developed countries. This will help in many areas such as disease mapping, disaster management, epidemiological trend analysis, information sharing etc.
