Abstract
Section 25 relating to the erection of public standpipes is completely renewed. A new section (25A) provide for the certification of conformity to prescribed requisites of plumbing and drainage. A new section 27A prescribes powers of the General Manager of the in respect of unauthorized connections. New sections (84A to J) make provision for supply of water by water meters, charge for such supply and control by the Board of meters. Other amendments of this Act relate redefine offences and penalties.
