Abstract
This Order establishes a fishing management area within the Puttalam Lagoon. It specifies under paragraph (a) of sub-section (1) of Section 31 of the Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Act, No. 2 of 1996 in the Grama Niladhari Areas within the Divisional Secretaries of Puttalam District, geographical coordinates in the North Western province in order to create a Fisheries Management Area.
