Abstract
The Act makes provision for the establishment of the Sri Lanka Council for Agricultural Research Policy. It states its composition and rules of procedure. The Council shall, among other matters: (a) formulate the national research policy; (b) advise the Government on all matters regarding the organization, coordination and implementaion of agricultural research; (c) arrange for and fund agricultural research projects and scientific services.
Article 11 lists the powers of the Council, in connection with the functions mentioned above.
