Abstract
This Act is enacted to amend the Sri Lanka Electricity Act, No. 20 of 2009.
Section 8 of the Sri Lanka Electricity Act, No. 20 of 2009 is repealed and the following section substituted therefor: "8. Any person may participate in a bidding process for the generation of electricity.”. In addition, amendments are nade to the Section 9 and Section 43 of the principal enactment.
