Sri Lanka Standard - Specification for Fortified Milled Rice (SLS 1804:2024).

This Standard prescribes the requirements, methods of sampling and methods of test for fortified raw and parboiled milled rice. The types and grades of rice shall be in conformity to SLS 633. The essential and optional ingredients that may be added for fortification are described. The general requirements and nutritional requirements are provided along with limits for toxic elements, microbiological and pesticide residues. The packaging and labelling standards and sampling and testing methods are laid down.
