The Liberia Standards Authority Act, 2018

This Act amends the Executive Law of Liberia and establishes the Liberia Standards Authority, in order to: provide a legal framework for the development, promotion and maintenance of Liberian standards in both public and private sector organisations; promote industrial efficiency and development; increase the production of high quality of goods and services in Liberia. The Act covers the following matters: powers and duties of the Authority; administrative and organisational provisions; composition of the Council of the Authority; duties of the Council; standards and licences to use standard mark; financial provisions and sources of funding; offences and penalties.
