Abstract
The Forestry Development Authority hereby prohibits the exportation of logs and processed wood from specified species. Exporters who contravene the provisions of this Regulation shall incur a prescribed penalty. The reason for the ban on the exportation of certain species is twofold; to protect such species from over-exploitation and to protect the local industrial forestry sector and to enhance international trade in lesser-known species.
