Abstract
The Minister responsible for finance may place restrictions on the importation or exportation of goods of a specified class. "Goods" in this Act includes "all wares, articles, merchandise, animals". Goods may be classified according to source of origin, intermediate or final destination, or to the way of importation or exportation. The Director appointed under the Customs and Excise Act shall designate inspectors for purposes of the present Act. The Minister may require permits to be obtained for the importation or exportation of specified goods and may prescribe the price of the goods, the period in which the goods may be imported or exported, the entry or exit port, etc. (8 sections)
