Abstract
This Proclamation prohibits importation of undesirable livestock (defined as livestock of inferior quality) and allows importation of livestock only under a permit issued by the Principal Veterinary Officer or any authorized officer. The Resident Commissioner may appoint ports of entry or exit of livestock and conditions may be attached to an import permit.
