Abstract
The Proclamation provides for destruction of locusts. It requires a Chief whenever locusts appear or deposit their eggs to notice the nearest district office or police, who shall on receipt of such notice, inform the department to which the work of extermination of locusts is assigned. A Chief shall also take care of destruction of locusts. Any person who refuses or without reasonable cause fails to comply with any provision of this Proclamation or any regulation with which it is his duty to comply shall be guilty of an offence.
