Abstract
This Act establishes the Lesotho Tourism Development Corporation as a body corporate. The Act also defines rules for the development of tourism in Lesotho and concerns also the improvement of the physical environment of tourism sites, premises and related facilities.
The Corporation shall, among other things: to formulate and implement a National Plan for Tourism, advise the Minister, develop tourism and in particular develop and manage tourism sites and facilities. In exercising its functions the Corporation shall have regard to the requirements of agriculture, efficient land management, the needs of the local community and to the requirements of environment protection.
