Extension Agreement on Environmental Management of the Lielupe River Basin.

This Agreement provides for the extension of the Agreement on Environmental Management of the Lielupe River Basin. The Lielupe area serves as a pilot area for implementation of river basin management from which experience can be drawn for other river basins in the Baltic Sea area. At the termination of the principal Agreement the Contracting Parties may sign a permanent agreement elaborated during the project period.
