Law No. XII-1840 amending Land Reform Law (No. I-1607 of 1991).

Article 14 shall be amended to add the following wording: “Article 14. Non-privatization of forests and waterbodies. Forests and waterbodies shall not be subject to privatization if they are classified as: (a) forests of state importance, inland waters of state importance; (b) state reserves, state park reserves and reserve circles, the Curonian Spit National Park; (c) urban forests; (d) state forest nurseries and seed forest plantations; (e) forests for the research and training of forest staff and objects of seed selection; and (f) state forests located in the 7 km wide strip from the Baltic Sea and the Curonian Lagoon”.
