Abstract
Article 16 shall be amended to add the following wording: “An authorization to produce electricity is not required if a person intends to produce electricity in installations for generation of installed electricity of not more than 10 kW exclusively for his own needs and for the needs of the economy without electricity supply to the electricity grids, also if the person complies with the provisions of Article 2 (9) of this Law, and provides for the generation of electricity at installations generating electricity from renewable sources of up to 5 kW of installed power. An authorization to develop power generation capacities is not required if a person intends to expand (equip) electricity generating capacities with an installed capacity of no more than 10 kW and to generate electricity for their own needs only and for the needs of the economy without electricity supply to the electricity grids, as well as if the person complies with the provisions of Paragraph 2 of Article 9 of this Law and intends to expand (equip) the generation capacities of electricity from renewable energy sources with an installed capacity of not more than 5 kW. A person who intends to expand (equip) power generation capacities of up to 10 kW of installed power and to generate electricity for their own needs only and for the needs of the economy without electricity supply to the electricity grids, as well as persons specified in Paragraph 2 of Article 9 of this Law.” Article 34 shall be amended to add the following wording: “Distribution network operators and consumers whose installations are connected to the transmission networks and which have concluded an agreement with the transmission system operator to conclude a contract with the transmission system operator and to pay in a timely manner for transmission of electricity by transmission networks and other services provided by the operator related to the transmission of electricity. An independent supplier who has entered into an agreement with the transmission system operator regarding the settlement of the user's forwarding services, the distribution network operator or the user who violates the contract concluded with the transmission system operator shall, at the request of the transmission system operator, ensure that all obligations are fulfilled.”
