Abstract
Article 22 establishes competence of State Nuclear Power Safety Inspectorate, assigning the following functions thereto: (a) ensuring nuclear safety, including nuclear facilities, nuclear sites and nuclear materials; (b) supervision over compliance with statutory requirements of licensed and certified operators in the sphere of nuclear energy; (b) monitoring of observance of nuclear safety requirements; and (c) by agreement with the Ministry of Health establishes the rates and limits for the release of radionuclides from nuclear facilities into environment.
