Law No. XIII-782 amending Law No. XI-1550 “On geological storage of carbon dioxide”.

Article 11 shall be amended to add the following wording: “In the event of leakage or serious damage, the operator must immediately notify the Lithuanian Geological Survey and the Department of Environment and take all the remedial measures provided for in the Plan of System Failure, including measures related to the protection of human health. The plan of remedial measures is prepared by the operator in accordance with the procedure established by the Government, approved by the Lithuanian Geological Survey.”
