Law No. XIV-573 amending Law No. I-1613 of 1996 on nuclear energy.

Article 36 shall be amended to add the following wording: “The Ministry of Interior shall authorize institution for securing criminal offenses that could disrupt a nuclear facility operation, performance by its officials of prevention, control of the restricted area of a nuclear in accordance with their rights, and protection of additional protection zones of the nuclear facility located in the restricted access area. At the request of officials authorized by the Ministry of the Interior within the protection zone must stop vehicles and the persons onboard must submit for inspection transported items and accompanying documents, and to obey requests of officials related to the enforcement of physical protection of nuclear facilities”.
