Order No. 3D-57 of the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Lithuania on the Approval of the Implementation Rules for the Measure "Support for the Implementation of the European Eel Stock Management Plan in Lithuania" under the Measure "Measures for the Protection and Development of Aquatic Fauna and Flora" of the Third Priority Axis "Measures of Common Interest" of the Lithuanian Fisheries Sector 2007–2013 Operational Programme.

This ministerial order establishes the formal rules for providing financial support to implement the European eel resource management plan in Lithuania. The primary objective is to restore and protect European eel stocks while conducting necessary scientific monitoring and research. The Fisheries Service under the Ministry of Agriculture is designated as the sole eligible applicant for this support.
The rules define eligible activities, including the purchase of eels for restocking, expert assessments, and technical equipment for quarantine and holding facilities. Funding is provided through the European Fisheries Fund (75%) and the national budget (25%), with a maximum project limit of €1,448,100. Applicants must adhere to strict administrative requirements regarding bookkeeping, insurance, and the long-term maintenance of project assets.
