Order No. D1-186 of the Minister of Environment validating waste management program for the period of 2018.

The Minister validates waste management program for the period of 2018 in accordance with plan attached in the Annex 1. Waste management program plan envisages education of the population related to waste prevention and waste management, taxation of packaging materials, purchase of industrial waste for recycling purposes, collection of hazardous waste (asbestos containing products), transportation and safe disposal thereof. Other measures envisage subsidies to economic entities recycling waste, application of environmental fees for domestic waste by instantaneous weighing of waste at the moment of acceptance. All the aforesaid initiatives shall be financed by public funds distributed through tenders.
