Abstract
This Resolution of Lithuania, with a view to exercising its sovereignty over the territorial sea and sovereign rights over the contiguous zone, the exclusive economic zone and the continental shelf, the Government of the Republic of Lithuania, establishes the delimitation of its territorial sea, Exclusive Economic Zone and Continental Shelf. The Resolution also requires the Ministry of Agriculture (for fisheries purposes), the Ministry of Environment and other ministries to determine the need of and, where appropriate, to prepare the laws and regulations necessary to comply with the international rules to the contiguous zone, the exclusive economic zone and the continental shelf of the Republic of Lithuania as provided for in the international treaties of the Republic of Lithuania and to create a uniform legal system, covering the infringement prevention and the civil or criminal liability.
