Resolution No.I-887 of 1995 of the Parliament (Seimas) concerning the enforcement of articles specified in the Article 52 of the Law on Alcohol Control.

The Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania has r e s o l v e d: Licences to produce and import alcohol products, engage in wholesale and retail trade thereof, issued to enterprises until the Law shall come into effect, shall be valid to the date indicated there. These licenses shall grant the right to produce and import alcohol products, engage in the wholesale and retail trade thereof according to the regulations valid at the time the licenses were issued. New licenses shall be issued to enterprises according to the requirements of the Law on Alcohol Control, which have come into force, however the time of the validity of these licenses must be established only to July 1, 1996. After July 1, 1996 licenses shall be issued only according to the requirements of the Law on Alcohol Control.
