Abstract
The Parties to this Agreement, being convinced of the need for cooperation, establish a permanent cooperation mechanism with the aim of combating civil emergency situations and developing this cooperation with all appropriate means within the existing resources and according to the needs of both Parties. Cooperation within the framework of this agreement includes the following forms: (a) development and improvement of measures and methods for civil emergencies prevention and mitigation of their consequences; (b) organizing the operational exchange of information: i. on civil emergency situations that have arisen in the territories of the Parties; ii. on requests and proposals of the Parties in the field of mutual assistance, as well as on assistance provided by relevant international organizations; iii. on mutual assistance provided for the elimination of the consequences of civil emergencies; (c) involvement of international organizations with the aim of ensuring the civil readiness of the Parties for prevention of emergency situations and receiving assistance in the event of their occurrence; (d) organization and implementation of monitoring of natural and technological processes; (e) forecasting civil emergency situations and assessing their consequences; (f) exchange of experts; (g) personnel training; (h) organization of joint consultations; (i) exchange of information and technology; (j) organization of joint seminars and meetings; (k) joint planning, development, implementation and demonstration of research projects; (l) maintaining communications between the competent authorities of the Parties; (m) liquidation of consequences of civil emergencies; and (n) any other activities in the field of prevention of civil emergencies and elimination of their consequences, which may be agreed between the competent authorities of the Parties.

Entry into force notes
This Agreement is concluded for an indefinite period and comes into force next month on the first day following the receipt of the last written notification through diplomatic channels, in which the Parties inform each other that the internal procedures necessary for the entry into force of this Agreement have been completed.
