Abstract
In order to ensure a high level of public health protection, unified state supervision in the circulation of veterinary medicinal products, as well as to optimize the functions of institutions controlling the circulation of veterinary medicinal products, the Ministry of Agriculture has prepared the concept "Unified state supervision in the circulation of veterinary medicinal products". The Ministry of Agriculture proposes that the supervision of the circulation of veterinary medicinal products should be the responsibility of one institution - the Food and Veterinary Service - to ensure the effective operation of the risk analysis system for the circulation of veterinary medicinal products, reduce the time from risk identification to risk management activities and administrative costs related to maintenance of the veterinary medicinal product circulation monitoring system in three state institutions (Food and Veterinary Service, State Agency of Medicines, Health Inspectorate). The Food and Veterinary Service will maintain a unified information system on the circulation of veterinary medicinal products in the country, ensuring that information on veterinary medicinal products is available in one state institution.
