Cabinet Regulation No. 1040 of 2009 on Administration of Milk Quotas

The Regulation prescribes the procedures by which transactions with milk quotas are carried out; the procedures for the administration and control of milk quotas; the procedures by which a levy for the exceeded milk quota is paid; and the procedures by which a levy for an annual declaration of direct sales and delivery quotas not submitted by the deadline is paid. A quota however is not determined for milk, which is used for home consumption and animal feed by a milk producer. The Agricultural Data Centre administers milk quotas, calculates a levy for the exceeded milk quota, as well as calculates and collects a levy for an annual declaration of the direct sales quota and an annual declaration of the delivery quota not submitted by the deadline.
