Abstract
The Regulations prescribe the procedures for granting, monitoring and administering state aid in the form of a short-term loan in order to reduce the negative impact of the spread of Covid-19 on the production process of primary agricultural products. A short-term loan to a producer of agricultural primary products shall be granted by the Rural Support Service in compliance with the provisions of these Regulations. The following farmers may receive a short-term loan: small (micro), small and medium-sized enterprises complying with Commission Regulation (EU) No 182/2011 of 25 June 2014 Regulation (EU) No 702/2014 declaring certain categories of aid in the agriculture and forestry sector and in rural areas compatible with the internal market in application of Articles 107 and 108 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union (Official Journal of the European Union of 1 July 2014) L 193), for the definition set out in Annex 1; and large companies that comply with Commission Regulation The definition set out in Article 2 (26) of Regulation (EU) No 702/2014.
